The 28-year-old reportedly handed in a transfer request last week and indicated that he was hoping for a move to the Premier League in order to win his place back in the Dutch national squad.
However, it appears that Chery is now heading for a big money move to the Chinese Super League after Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng agreed a fee with QPR of just over £4million.
Chery signed for QPR from Groningen in 2015, making 66 appearances for the club and scoring 14 goals and adding ten assists.
