The sports marketing company United Vansen, which has been in talks to take over for a year, confirmed to De Telegraaf that they had transferred the money to purchase the shares of the club.
Over the past few months ADO Den Haag had set the company’s owner Hui Wang several deadlines to finalise the deal, and there were doubts on whether the deal would actually take place. However the money, believed to be over €8 million is in Netherlands, and the deal can now be officially completed.
Director Maarten Fontain will travel to China on Sunday for a four-day trip to tie up the loose ends, and an official statement should be made soon after.
Wang should be the main guest when ADO Den Haag celebrate their 110th year anniversary on January 31st.
