Erwin van de Looi has named a new-look 19-man provisional Netherlands U21 squad for the upcoming friendly with Germany’s U21’s.

After the failure to reach next years European Championships, Netherlands U21’s face Germany in a friendly on the 16th of November.

Head coach Erwin van de Looi has decided to call-up a number of new faces ahead of the clash as he prepares for a new qualifying campaign which will begin next year.

Manchester United winger Tahith Chong is just one of the debutante’s named in the provisional squad, alongside Ajax duo Dani de Wit and Kaj Sierhuis, FC Emmen goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen, the FC Groningen duo Deyovaisio Zeefuik and Jan Hoekstra, Spartan Deroy Duarte, and attacker Jay Roy-Grot, who is on loan with VVV from Leeda United.

Van de Looi will name his final squad at the end of next week.
