Netherlands U20’s came from behind to defeat England U20’s 3-1 in Katwijk.

Without head coach Bert Konterman, who was missing for family reasons, Netherlands fell behind in the seventh minute when Eddie Nketiah fired England in front.

In the fifteenth minute, England had a great chance to go 2-0 up when they were awarded a penalty, but NEC stopper Maarten Paes kept out Ben Brereton’s spot-kick.

Netherlands improved after the break and drew level on the hour mark through Manchester United’s Tahith Chong, who cut inside from the right before firing into the far corner. Feyenoord’s Dylan Vente then gave Netherlands the lead from the penalty spot.

Moments from the end, Fenerbahce midfielder Ferdi Kadioglu sealed the victory for Oranje with a fine finish.
