The former FC Utrecht defender has signed a two-year contract with the option of an additional year. The thirty-year-old defender started twenty-nine games for FC Utrecht, last season, but has decided to leave for a new challenge at Roda JC following the expiry of his contract.
Roda JC confirmed the deal on their official website saying “Christian is a welcome enhancement. He can play on the left or in central defence.” Kum is the fifth signing for Roda JC during the offseason with Brouwers, Rosheuvel, Auassar and Ananou all joining new manager Anastasiou as he reshapes the squad for the next season.
Christian Kum played in the Feyenoord youth team before moving to Den Haag and subsequently FC Utrecht starting over two hundred and fifty games in Eredivisie and KNVB Beker.
