The Netherlands number one is hoping to leave Barcelona this summer after two years of being second choice to Marc Andre Ter Stegen.
Benfica have been heavily linked with a move for the former Ajax stopper but that move now looks doubtful because of Barcelona’s €60 million asking price.
Speaking to Marca about his search for a new club, Cillessen said, “The fact that Barcelona is asking for €60 million does not help. I remain calm at this time. I will see what will happen. “
I thought it was supposed to be 20-30m. I do feel for Cillessen his move has never worked out & he def has the talent to be #1 a at big club. But 60m no one will pay that for a backup keeper. That use to be to Much for a #1.
Barca want to sell a number of players but they might have to drop their evaluationa some.
I love to see Cillessen go some where & get #1 but even PL clubs won’t pay that.
