After losing four star players already this summer, Feyenoord announced earlier this month that they would not let Clasie leave the club unless they received a huge offer.
Portuguese giants Porto, who have already signed Bruno Martins Indi from Feyenoord, are said to be interested in the 23-year-old midfielder, while clubs from England have also been linked.
The player’s agent, Wessel Weezenberg has told Fox Sports that he expects more clubs to become interested in Clasie over the coming weeks, and has stated the Dutch international is ready to leave De Kuip.
Weezenberg said “Of course Clasie does not have to leave Feyenoord. But he is ready for departure.”
The agent also believes that just because Feyenoord have sold four players already this summer, that should not stand in Clasie’s way.
He added, “That does not change Clasies ambitions. We should not suddenly slam the book because Feyenoord have sold other players.”
