An excellent strike by Jordy Clasie set Feyenoord on their way to a 3-0 victory over PEC Zwolle in De Kuip.

Feyenoord dominated the early stages and eventually took the lead in the 18th minute when a corner fell to Jordy Clasie outside the box and the midfielder volleyed an unstoppable strike into the top corner.

Nicolai Jorgensen was then denied by the post while at the other end Justin Bijlow was called into action to deny a hard shot from Scammaca.

A minute before the break, Feyenoord doubled their lead when Jorgensen rose to power a header past Mickey van der Hart from a corner.

In the opening stages of the second half, PEC Zwolle were the dominant team with Scammaca denied by Bijlow again before Thomas Lam was allowed space to curl a strike against the bar from the edge of the box.

With 15 minutes left, Feyenoord sealed the victory with Steven Berghuis racing forward before curling an excellent strike past van der Hart from distance.

The victory keeps Feyenoord two points behind Ajax in third, while PEC Zwolle are 11th.
