PSV are heading for the Eredivisie title but were humbled on Saturday in a shock defeat to Willem II, who easily ran out 5-0 winners.

After the game, Cocu told the press that the players would not be getting their Sunday off, “It seems clear to me that I have something to say and I hope they also have something to say, this was outrageous, I do not really have words for it.

“They fought for every meter and we did not. We really have to be ashamed, even for the fans who came to see us, it really did not make sense, we’ve lost, but never in such a way, we do not always play big, but always fight. Is it due to the big lead or we have received too many positive reviews? I really do not know.

“We are not allowed to talk about a championship yet, and we must be really ashamed of ourselves.”
