Ajax and FC Twente both qualified for the Conference League on Thursday after victories.

Qarabag 1-4 Twente
FC Twente came from behind to see off Qarabag in extra-time.
After a 1-0 loss at home last week, FC Twente were up against it in Azerbaijan. They came close to opening the scoring but Daouda Weidmann hit the crossbar.
In the second half, the hosts struck first as Kady Borges finished following some sloppy defending by the Dutch side.
Marko Pjaca pulled one back and in stoppage time, Max Bruns forced extra time by putting Twente in front. Wout Weghorst finished acrobatically to put Twente ahead in the tie before the hosts were reduced to ten men for a foul by Marko Jankovic.
After a mistake by the Qarabag goalkeeper, Younes Taha scored a fourth to seal Twente’s progress to the next round.
Ajax 5-3 Sion
Ajax are safely into the next round after a 9-5 aggregate victory over Sion.
After only a minute, Ajax were 1-0 up as Youri Baas found the net on a rebound, but the visitors quickly equalised through Winsley Boteli.
After some poor goalkeeping by Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Boteli tapped in a second for the visitors but Davy Klaassen quickly eased any nerves by making it 2-2. Before the break, Tolu Arokodare scored from close range to make it 3-2.
Early in the second half, Ajax killed the game as Tolu tapped in a second before Oliver Edvardsen added a fifth. Ajax could have added further goals before the end but they settled for five, while Boteli completed his hattrick to make it 5-3 at the end.
Ajax join Twente in the draw for the next round.
