PSV Eindhoven eased to a 4-0 victory over ADO Den Haag with Noni Madueke netting a double.

PSV Eindhoven did not want to play the game against ADO Den Haag after Jorrit Hendrix and Vincent Müller were tested positive for coronavirus. They joined Denzel Dumfries, Cody Gakpo, Pablo Rosario, Joël Piroe, Maxime Delanghe, Timo Baumgartl and Nick Viergever. However, the game went ahead because PSV had enough players to play.

Eran Zahavi started again after recovering from coronavirus, and he caused the biggest moment of the first half. He dodged Milan van Ewijk’s tackle but then went to ground. Referee Jochem Kamphuis pointed to the spot and VAR did not intervene. Zahavi scored to make it 1-0.

Mohamed Ihattaren and Donyell Malen had chances to make it 2-0 before the break but could not take them. The duo were then substituted at the break for Phillip Max and Noni Madueke.

Six minutes after the break, Madueke made it 2-0 after finding the bottom corner with a low strike.

Richard Ledezma was allowed to make his debut and he marked it with an assist as he set up Ryan Thomas to make it 3-0. In injury time, Madueke added a fourth.

PSV climbs to third again and are two points behind both Ajax and Vitesse Arnhem. ADO Den Haag sits 12th.
