In his latest column Cruyff has taken aim at Ajax director Dolf Collee, who relieved Wim Jonk of his duties as head of youth development at the club.
Cruyff wrote, “If it turns out that the entire financial recovery of Ajax is thanks largely on the cooperation of Jonk and De Boer, how can you put fifty percent of your success formula out the door,”
“Good interplay between what Jonk delivers and how De Boer picks, means Ajax has in the last four years generated more than eighty million euros in transfers. “
Cruyff concluded,”Furthermore, I have learned that the previous director (now departed Michael Kinsbergen) Almost a year ago was commissioned to dismiss Jonk. He refused and has since put out his position despite the fact that brought in Ziggo, the best sponsorship contract in club history. ”
“The director and main trainer are now fired. Two people who have helped Ajax financially recover again. Is it any wonder that I think I’m being screwed? “
