Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah on a season long loan deal.

The versatile defender left Ajax for Manchester United as a 16-year-old and has since made 12 appearances for the first team.
In a bid to earn regular time in the Premier league, Fosu-Mensah will now spend the season on loan with Crystal Palace. The 19-year-old told the Crystal Palace website after the move was confirmed, “I still have a lot to learn and therefore getting the opportunity to play more games on a regular basis will help my development,”
Fosu-Mensah joins up with Jairo Riedewald and coach Frank de Boer who he will now from his days with Ajax.
