Afterwards Blind was quizzed on the game by NOS interviewer Bert Maalderink, and he admitted he was at fault for the second goal, but not the first.

Blind said on what he thought about the game, “Disappointing.”

Maalderink, “If you look at the first two goals .They were mistakes where you were involved.”

Blind, “I am aware of that.”

Maalderink, “Can you explain that?”

Blind, “The first goal I was pressing and according to me that I was not involved in it. And the 2nd I was definitely involved and I blame myself.”

Maalderink, “I am not attacking you, football is a game of mistakes and all players make them. But in this case it was two decisive moments.”

Bind, “Once again I do not feel that I was directly involved with the first goal and the second yes, and you can see how I am now after game.”
