Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld is still hoping to shine this season for Bournemouth and earn a spot in the Netherlands squad.

The winger joined Bournemouth from Club Brugge in the summer but has been struggling with constant injuries.

A comeback is not yet on the cards but Danjuma is still hoping to impress Oranje boss Ronald Koeman before the end of the season.

He told the Bournemouth website, “If I can show what I am capable of, I hope I will be selected.

“With the qualities that I have, I can perform for my club and my country. I think I can have my value for Bournemouth and the national team. Quality is permanent, so I just see this as a small setback and I intend to make a big comeback.”

The 23-year-old has two caps for the Netherlands national team so far.
