Swansea City were relegated from the Premier League this season and announced on Friday that Carlos Carvalhal had left his position as head coach.

According to The Guardian, Swansea City have now turned their attention to De Boer, who has been linked with the club in the past. The 48-year-old former Ajax and Inter Milan boss has been out of work since being sacked by Crystal Palace early last season.

De Boer has competition from Graham Potter who has done an excellent job with Swedish side Östersund.
