Sinkgraven has emerged as one of the biggest talents in Netherlands this season, and his performances for Heerenveen have caught the eye of big clubs such as Manchester United and Liverpool. However it is Ajax that are favourites to sign the 19-year-old, who has admitted to being a fan of the Amsterdam club as a child.
Speaking to AT5 Ajax coach Frank de Boer believes a January move for the midfielders is on the cards, “To buy him and rent him back to Heerenveen for half a year would be anĀ option.”
De Boer also stated they tried to sign the Netherlands U21 international in the summer, “I think we have once already filed a bid with Heerenveen,”
Sinkgraven has made 15 appearances for Heerenveen so far this season, scoring three and adding two assists.
