According to El Chiringuito de Jugones Barcelona are looking for a replacement for Gerrado Martino as it is believed he will be leaving at the end of the season and Frank de Boer is allegedly on top of the Catalan clubs list.

Francois Gallardo, the former Spanish agent has stated that “Tata Martino will leave the club this summer.” Recently there has been speculation that Martino hasn’t been able to settle in at his new club despite his side being currently top of the table and have only lost twice all campaign.
One of the two teams that managed to beat his Barça side was Frank de Boer’s Ajax. The Amsterdam club beat Barcelona 2-1 in the champions league group stage despite going down to ten men early in the second half. Ajax’s convincing display reportedly impressed the board at Barcelona causing them to take interest in de Boer as a viable successor if Martino decides to leave.
The other managers supposedly on the Catalan clubs books are Atheltico Madrid’s Diego Simeone and Brazilian coach Luiz Fellipe Scolari.
Frank de Boer who previously played for Barcelona and featured in 144 games for the club over a four year period has spoke out many times that he has no plans to leave Ajax. However when a club as big as Barcelona become interested it is hard to see de Boer turn this down if the offer does come his way. But for the time being Martio hasn’t showed any signs that he is wanting to leave the club this summer and Frank de Boer is only concerned on wining his fourth consecutive Eredivisie title and with a victory over PSV Eindhoven this afternoon it seems his Ajax side are on course to do so.
