The Premier League side have reportedly thought long and hard about sacking the Dutchman during the international break, despite De Boer only taking charge this summer.
Crystal Palace have lost all three of their opening Premier League gamesĀ and still haven’t scored a single goal. De Boer held talks with chairman Steve Parish this week and it appears the club are willing to give him one last chance to prove himself.
On Sunday, Crystal Palace travel to Burnley in what is seen as a do or die game for De Boer, who is facing the sack should they lose.
It would be a major blow for the 47-year-old, who’s coaching reputation was dented by a poor last season with Ajax and then a torrid 85-day spell in charge of Inter Milan.
