Newcastle are searching for a manager after Alan Pardew left and have been heavily linked to De Boer, who has won four Eredivisie titles in a row since becoming Ajax coach in 2010.
De Boer was asked about the interest from Newcastle during an appearance on TV programme De Tafel van Kees but once again pledged his immediate future to the Amsterdam club.
The 44-year-old said, “I have also read about interest from Newcastle, but I have not heard anything myself.”
“I have told my agent that he doesn’t need to let me know about interest from clubs now because I am not going to leave prematurely.”
De Boer went on to say that he will look at his future in the summer, but will Newcastle United be willing to wait for the Dutchman?
