Ajax coach Frank de Boer has tipped young Danish midfielder Lucas Andersen to have a big future at the club.

The 19 year old has mainly been used as a substitute by Ajax so far this season, but has impressed in his six appearances so far.
Ever since joining the club in 2012 from Danish club AaB, Andersen has been regarded as a top prospect, and coach Frank de Boer has tipped him for great success.
He told Danish Tipsbladet,”There is much potential in Lucas,”
He is still making strides, but now has some level what we aim for at Ajax. He has a good technique, he can score goals, is fast and explosive. Physically he still needs work.”
“In a year or two he can be one of the leaders at Ajax.”
Andersen will once again start on the bench for Ajax in their table top clash with FC Twente on Saturday but its only a matter of time before the attacking midfielder becomes a first team regular.
