Frank de Boer thinks the European Championships will have been a success if Netherlands reach the semi-finals.

The Oranje boss sees his side on the level of England and Portugal, but believes Belgium are the favourites for the championships.
De Boer told De Telegraaf, “Given the balance of power in Europe, we would do very well if we reached the semi-finals.
“Belgium is my favourite, followed by France, Spain and Germany. We are with England, Italy and Portugal, if we are at our best.”
De Boer is hoping to have his captain fit in time for the tournament, “It makes a difference whether Virgil van Dijk is there. He is the best defender in the world.”
