Frank de Boer’s wait for a first win in the MLS went on as Atlanta United were held to a 1-1 draw by Philadelphia Union on Sunday evening.

After a loss and a draw to start the season, Atlanta United headed into Sunday’s clashes looking for their first three points of the campaign.

However, after 47 minutes, Branden Aaronson fired Philadelphia in front. Eziquiel Barco headed Atlanta level in the 70th minute, but the hosts couldn’t find a late winner.

The draw increases the pressure on De Boer, who has not made a great impression in America so far. After the game, the former Ajax boss said, “It is a very disappointing result for everyone who cares for Atlanta,”
