Speaking to Omroep Gelderland, the Eerste Divisie club’s general manager Peter Hofstede confirmed talks would be held with Leicester City on Friday over a trial and loan of the 19-year-old forward

He said, “We would like to have him first on trial.

“We’ve seen him in England, but it’s always nice if you can see him at work here, that’s preferable, if that’s not possible, then we’ll look further.

“It is not yet clear what Leicester City wants, tonight (Friday) We have contact about it.”

Ndukwu had made nine appearances for Leicester City’s U23 side this season, scoring once.
