Speaking to SkySports De Guzman said, “It’s every player’s dream to play in a World Cup, now that I’m in the squad I’ve got a chance to do that, so I have to take that chance.

It has been a great season so far. Winning the Capital One Cup and doing so well with Swansea, as well as winning a Dutch cap, is all a bonus for me.”

“It would be good for me to stay here. I have no clue what’s being talked about, so it’s basically a waiting game for me, but I’ve made it clear that I want to stay at the club.”

Swansea may face competition for the 25 year old, with Liverpool said to be keen on the playmaker.
