After unsuccessful moves abroad with Borussia Monchengladbach and Newcastle United, Luuk de Jong is happy that he is having a better time with Sevilla.

The striker decided to leave PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season for Sevilla. It was a risk for the striker, who struggled in his previous spells abroad at Borussia Monchengladbach and Newcastle United.
However, De Jong has proved his worth for Sevilla with goals against Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Speaking to Voetbal International, De Jong said on moving abroad for a third time, “I have indeed played in Germany and England, but the clubs were not the right ones for my game. I was never afraid that it would not work abroad a third time. I was very confident that I wanted to do this.
“I have shown at PSV in the Champions League that I can play well against European top clubs. Then I can also do that in a top league.”
De Jong has five goals in La Liga this season.
