Frenkie de Jong is happy for his former Ajax teammate Donny van de Beek, who is set to seal a move to Manchester United.

The Barcelona was asked by Fox Sports if he had spoken with Van de Beek about his move to the Premier League, “I spoke to him briefly about it. It’s a great transfer. We are all very happy for him.”
Asked if he offered him any advice, De Jong said, “No, no, he can do that himself.”
Van de Beek was also linked with Barcelona, but De Jong is not sure, “Donny is a really good player, but I don’t know if that’s right. You should ask him that.”
Van de Beek will seal his €40 million move to Manchester United shortly, and sign a five-year deal with the English giants.
