Frenkie de Jong wasn’t entirely happy after making his Barcelona debut on Tuesday.

The midfielder came off the bench in the second half of Barcelona’s 2-1 loss to Chelsea on Tuesday lunchtime. He made a good impression and completed every pass on the ball.

However, the defeat left De Jong with mixed feelings. Speaking to Barcelona’s website, he said, “I’m glad I made my first minutes for Barça, but I think we didn’t play that well.

“We lost, so in the end I don’t have a very good feeling, “he looked back at the Barcelona club channel.

‘The feeling in the position is good, although I don’t really care where in midfield I’m going to play. When I play, I am happy.”
