According to reports in Italy, Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt has agreed personal terms with Juventus.

According to Sky Sports in Italy, De Ligt has agreed a five-year deal worth €12 million a season including bonuses. The deal will also include a €150 million release clause.

Juventus will now enter negotiations with Ajax over a transfer fee. Ajax want €75 million, which PSG already agreed to pay.

PSG are still in the running but they cannot include a release clause in the player’s contract because that is illegal in France. They are looking for an alternative.
