Matthijs de Ligt’s handball led to Juventus being held to a 1-1 draw at Lecce on Saturday evening.

The Dutch international’s performances have come under constant scrutiny so far this season with De Ligt already conceding a penalty with a handball against Inter Milan earlier in the season.

On Saturday, Juventus were heading for a 1-0 victory against Lecce but in the 56th minute, De Ligt conceded a penalty for another handball. Marco Mancosu scored from the spot to make it 1-1.

Juventus could not find a winner before the end meaning De Ligt will once again take the headlines for the wrong reasons.
