Matthijs de Ligt has brushed aside rumours that he is unhappy at Juventus.

De Ligt only joined Juventus from Ajax last summer, but in the past few months, Spanish media has linked the centre-back with a move to Barcelona.
However, speaking to Tuttosport, De Ligt has rubbished these rumours, “Of course I’m happy at Juventus! I am very happy here. In this footballless period, someone apparently made up some things about me. But I am very happy to be here. I train with extraordinary players every day and I feel that I am getting better every day. That’s why I’m glad to be here. It has been a fantastic choice.
“It’s nice to be able to train normally again, to be back on the field with all my teammates. Training in small groups, without touching each other, was quite difficult. This is of course better.”
