According to reports in Italy, Marten de Roon could be on his way back to Italy with Lazio interested in signing the Middlesbrough midfielder.

De Roon made a name for himself in Serie A with Atalanta, before joining Middlesbrough last summer. However, the Dutchman has failed to have a big impact in England with Middlesbrough relegated from the Premier League.
The 26-year-old is now set to leave the club and a return to Italy is on the cards with Il Messagero reporting that Lazio have identified De Roon as a recruit this summer.
De Roon is currently in Portugal with the Dutch national team, with more news on his future expected in the next couple of weeks.
