According to Spanish newspaper, ‘Sport’ Barcelona are interested in signing Lazio centre-back Stefan de Vrij this summer.

The Catalan giants are expecting Javier Mascherano and Jeremy Mathieu to leave the club this summer and a new centre-back will be top of their shopping list ahead of next season.
According to Sport, Stefan de Vrij is one of the clubs targets after an impressive season in Serie A with Lazio. However, Barcelona aren’t the only club watching the Dutch international with AC Milan, Inter and Atletico also credited with interest.
De Vrij has been with Lazio since joining from Feyenoord in 2014, but has refused to sign a new contract in Rome and is widely expected to be on his way out of the club this summer.
