Netherlands boss Frank de Boer has been dealt a blow with Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij testing positive for coronavirus.

There is currently a covid outbreak at Internazionale, with the club confirming on Thursday that De Vrij had tested positive.

This means the defender must now decline an invitation from his national team for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Netherlands boss Frank de Boer is already without Virgil van Dijk, but now must also do without De Vrij for the upcoming games against Turkey, Latvia and Gibraltar.

De Boer will confirm his squad for the games on Friday.
