Netherlands U21’s maintained their perfect start to their European Championship qualifying group with a simple 6-0 win in Gibraltar.

With Myron Boadu and Calvin Stengs with the Netherlands squad, Erwin van de Looi decided to line-up with an attack featuring Justin Kluivert, Cody Gakpo and Javairo Dilrosun.

Jong Oranje dominated from the start and eventually took the lead when Gakpo hooked the ball into the net from close range in the 16th minute.

Netherlands continued to push forward but chances were missed until Dani de Wit found the net with a nice header in the 38th minute.

After the hour mark, Gakpo got his second with a cross that found the net before De Wit completed his hat-trick with two goals in the space of ten minutes.

Daishawn Redan then came off the bench to complete the rout with a close range tap-in.

A comfortable night for the Netherlands, who move onto four wins out of four in the group. They remain top and are on course to reach the Euros which take place in 2021.
