Brighton and Hove Albion are set to sign Club Brugge defender Stefano Denswil on loan.

The centre-back is reportedly in England to undergo his medical and complete a deadline day move to England.

The 24-year-old was all set to join Hamburg earlier in the window but that move broke down, with fellow Dutchman Rick van Drongelen instead making the move to Germany. Denswil is now set to join Davy Propper at Premier League new boys Brighton as they look to bolster their defence.

Denswil left Ajax for Club Brugge in 2015 and has since made 100 appearances for the Belgian side, scoring six goals.
