deschampsDeschamps gave his opinion about the current state of the Dutch national team and stated how important it is for France to get a good result tonight.

He said, ”Failure to qualify for a tournament can happen. It happened to the French national team many years ago and it happened to the Dutch national team this summer. I still believe that the Netherlands have a strong team with young players and also players with experience and it will not be easy to play against them.

”I think it will be an open game full of chances but the most important thing is the result. Both teams will want to attack and score. Wesley Sneijder is important for the Dutch national team because he has a lot of experience and he scores a lot of goals and he takes very good free kicks too, but the Dutch national teams has lots of good players.”
