Norwich City have waived the option to sign left-back Mitchell Dijks permanently from Ajax.

The 24-year-old joined Norwich on loan in January, making 15 appearances for the Championship side and scoring once.
Norwich City had the option to make the deal permanent, but the club’s sporting director Stuart Webber has confirmed that talks with Dijks representatives have broken down and the Dutchman won’t return.
He is quoted by the BBC saying, “Unfortunately, we couldn’t come to an agreement and will now be moving onto other targets.”
