Javairo Dilrosun is back fit after months out and he was delighted to be back on the scoresheet for Hertha Berlin at the weekend.

The winger made a big impression at the start of last season and was handed his Netherlands debut against Germany. However, just 21 minutes after he came on, Dilrosun was forced off with a hamstring issue.

The 21-year-old then missed the rest of the season with injury issues but he was back in the Hertha Berlin starting eleven at the weekend. Dilrosun scored and gave an assist in a 2-1 victory over Paderborn.

Speaking to AD, Dilrosun said, “It was a long time ago that I started so I was bursting with motivation.

“The poor results in the first games of the season made me want to help the team. I think I have been able to contribute, and I want to continue that line. I hope that as a team we can continue that line, and that the season for us really starts now. “
