Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg has admitted that he has thought a lot about his last minute chance in the 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

The Dane came off the bench with fifteen minutes left of the Champions League clash and had two good chances to score, especially in the final moment.

David Neres set Dolberg in on goal with an excellent pass but with only Thibaut Courtois to beat the striker scuffed his finish.

Ajax TV asked Dolberg about the opportunity, “I got a very good pass from David (Neres). Then I wanted to finish, but I slide. So I do not hit it as I wanted to.”

Asked if he thought about the miss after the game, Dolberg said, “Yeh, to be honest I have had those things in my head a bit. I should have made it (scored). Maybe I should have taken an extra step or taken a bigger step. Something else in any case. “
