According to Marca, Real Madrid have their eye on Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg as a possible alternative to Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe is the Spanish giant’s number one target this summer, but with Monaco unwilling to sell their prized asset for less than €100 million, Real Madrid may have to look elsewhere for a new striker.

According to Marca, Ajax’s Kasper Dolberg is on their shortlist along with Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi as Real seek a cheaper option to replace Alvaro Morata, who joined Chelsea on Friday.

Dolberg netted scored 23 times in 48 games last season and the Dane has stated he is looking to remain in Amsterdam for another year. However, the 19-year-old may have his head turned by Real Madrid should they make a formal approach.
