Mustafa Saymak netted a 93rd minute winner as ten man PEC Zwolle saw off Dordrecht 2-1 at the GN Bouw Stadion.

pec thomDordrecht played their first home game in the Eredivisie since 1995, and began the game looking confident after their shock win at Heerenveen last week. However five minutes before the break the away side took the lead when Ryan Thomas burst through on the left hand side before rolling the ball past Filip Kurto.

Dordrecht went searching for the equaliser in the second half, but they barely threatened Diederik Boer in the PEC Zwolle, who was mainly a spectator.

Then with ten minutes to go PEC Zwolle defender Bart van Hintum was shown his second yellow card, and with the man advantage Dordrecht equalised through Giovanni Korte. The winger slotted in after the ball came back of the post following a goalmouth scramble.

Despite being reduced to ten men, PEC Zwolle found a winner with the last kick off the game as Mustafa Sayma steered into the top corner from just inside the box to break the home side’s hearts.

PEC Zwolle keep up their 100% record so far, and that will give them huge confidence heading into their first Europa League tie against Sparta Prague on Thursday.
