According to Voetbal International, striker Ferdy Druijf is leaving AZ Alkmaar to join KV Mechelen on loan.

The striker was not named on the bench for AZ Alkmaar’s clash with PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday and it has now been revealed that Druijf is heading for a transfer.

KV Mechelen of Belgium will sign the forward on loan until the end of the season.

Druijf has made 40 appearances for AZ, scoring six times, but he has not made a single start this season with Myron Boadu and Albert Gudmundsson ahead of him in the pecking order.
