Den Haag beat Korce 2-0 thanks to two late goals. The incident was reported by The International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) an organisation that looks into sport’s integrity.
The club are surprised by the accusations and this is what club’s spokesperson Nathalie Nuiten. “We are really full of surprise,”
“We have not seen strange things and there are no crazy goals cases. It’s really weird that there is now talk of a suspicious duel.”
An expert gambler employed by De Volkskrant (News daily) had this to say,
“The bets went to the rest as normal patterns, and then you see that there is a lot suddenly deployed on goals from the Dutch. This is definitely a suspicious match,”
KNVB are looking into the matter and had this to say,
“Although it is not a competition in the Dutch league we will also ask ADO for a statement and where required we will also support the club. Based on the findings we will review whether further action will be taken,”
