A round-up of how all the Dutchmen playing in Europe’s biggest league’s fared over the weekend.

Vincent Janssen made his first start for Fenerbahce on Sunday and opened the scoring against Alanyaspor with a close-range finish. The forward then won a penalty before being substituted late in the game. Fenerbahce ran out 4-1 winners and Janssen’s performance will have made him a fan favourite already.

Eljero Elia appeared as a 64th minute substitute as Istanbul Basaksehir drew 2-2 against Trabzonspor.
Ryan Babel started and Jeremain Lens appeared as a substitute as Besiktas bea Konyaspor 2-0 on Monday evening.
French Ligue 1
Memphis Depay and Kenny Tete both had impressive games for Lyon in their 2-0 defeat to PSG on Sunday evening. Tete was especially impressive up against Neymar as Lyon held PSG for 75 minutes before going down to two own goals.

Anwar El Ghazi once again played ninety minutes for Lille but couldn’t prevent a 1-0 defeat at Guingamp. The winger took five shots, four of which were on target, but didn’t find the net.
German Bundesliga
Arjen Robben scored in Bayern Munich’s 4-0 win over Mainz on Saturday The winger found the net with a right-footed lob on 23 minutes before being substituted just after the hour mark.
Peter Bosz’s Dortmund remain top of the table after a simple 5-0 win over Cologne.
Andries Jonker’s Wolfsburg lost 1-0 against Stuttgart with Paul Verghaegh appearing from the bench at half time, while Riechedly Bazoer was an unused substitute. The defeat was the final straw for the Wofsburg board and Jonker was sacked on Monday.
Jeffrey Gouweleeuw had an excellent game in the centre of defence as Augsburg beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1. The Dutchman made three tackles, six interceptions, and nine clearances during the victory. Jetro Willems and Jonathan de Guzman both played for Frankfurt with the latter getting an assist.
Karim Rekik played the full ninety minutes as Hertha Berlin held Hoffenheim to a 1-1 draw.
English Premier League
Bournemouth earned their first win of the season on Friday night as they beat Brighton 2-1. Nathan Ake starred in the centre of defence for the Cherries while Davy Propper couldn’t make an impact for Brighton.
Wesley Hoedt had an excellent game in the centre of the Southampton defence as they beat a Frank de Boer-less Crystal Palace 1-0. Hoedt made eight clearances and two interceptions. Timothy Fosu-Mensah played the full game for Palace while Virgil van Dijk made his Southampton return from the bench late on. Jairo Riedewald didn’t even make the squad for Roy Hodgson’s first Palace game.
Rajiv van la Parra came off the bench in the 91st minute as Huddersfield drew 1-1 against Leicester City.
Georginio Wijnaldum was an unused substitute as Liverpool drew 1-1 with Burnley.
Bruno Martins-Indi returned to the Stoke City starting line-up but couldn’t prevent a 2-1 defeat at Newcastle United. Erik Pieters also played the full game for the Potters.
Manchester City followed up their 4-0 win over Feyenoord by hammering Watford 6-0. Daryl Janmaat played the full game for the Hornets while Marvin Zeegelaar was an unused substitute.
Mike van der Hoorn made a rare start for Swansea City and played 85 minutes of their 0-0 draw against Tottenham. Leroy Fer appeared from the bench on 58 minutes, while Luciano Narsingh remained on the Swans bench. Michel Vorm was, as usual an unused substitute.
Ronald Koeman is coming under more fire after Everton suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at Manchester United. Maarten Stekelenburg and Davy Klaassen were both unused substitutes for the Toffees.
Russian Premier League
Quincy Promes came off the bench in the first half during Spartak Moscow’s 2-2 draw at ten-man Tosno. Spartak were easing to 2-0 win but conceded two goals in the final four minutes to throw away a victory.
Italian Serie A
Hans Hateboer and Marten de Roon both played the full ninety minutes as Atalanta drew 1-1 at Chievo.
Timo Letschert made eight clearances in the Sassuolo defence but he could not prevent a 3-1 defeat to Juventus. The centre-back played the full ninety minutes.
Stefan de Vrij had a poor game in the centre of Lazio’s defence despite their 3-2 win over Genoa. The Dutch international was substituted just after the hour mark.
Bram Nuytinck played the full game as Udinese went down 2-1 at AC Milan. He made seven clearances, two tackles and two interceptions but it wasn’t enough to prevent defeat.
Kevin Strootman remained on the bench as Roma beat Verona 3-0.
Spanish La Liga
Jasper Cillessen was an unused substitute for Barcelona in their 2-1 win over Getafe.
Portuguese Liga NOS
Sporting Lisbon beat Tondela on Saturday evening but for once Bas Dost was not among the goals. The striker played the full match but couldn’t find the net.
Belgian Pro League
Club Brugge beat Mechelen 2-0 on Friday night with Stefano Denswil and Ruud Vormer playing the full game, while Jordy Clasie appeared from the bench with ten minutes left.
Sandy Walsh scored the winning goal as Zulte Waregem came from behind to beat Royal Excel Mouscron 2-1.
English Championship
Jaap Stam’s Reading drew 1-1 with Brentford. Florian Jozefzoon played 88 minutes for Brentford, while Joey van den Berg and Roy Beerens both featured for Reading.
Yanic Wildschut netted the winner as Norwich City edged out Sheffield United 1-0.
Joost van Aken played the full ninety minutes of Sheffield Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at Cardiff City and made 10 clearances.
Jay-Roy Grot appeared from the bench on 72 minutes but couldn’t prevent Leeds United from losing 1-0 at Millwall.
