Willem II were this weekend’s winners following a excellent 2-0 success at Volendam which put them within three points of table topping Dordrecht ahead of their visit to PSV Jong on Monday, PSV put out a strong squad including young star Zakaria Bakkali & ran out 3-0 winners in front of a crowd of just 250 fans including around 50 that made the bus-combi trip from Dordrecht. Sparta Rotterdam move back to third place after destroying Oss by five goals to one, young forward Pieter Langedijk helping himself to a hat trick in the process. Sparta sit just two points behind Willem II, five behind Dordrecht & one point ahead of Eindhoven in fourth who were involved in late drama for the second week running as they were beaten at Fortuna Sittard. Fortuna had lost their last four games but looked to have had a victory snatched away from them when Josemar Makiavala made it 2-2 as the clock moved into injury time but with the referee checking the five minutes added time was up Gevaro Nepomuceno struck his fourth of the season to deny Eindhoven.
