The 29-year-old was surplus to requirements with Napoli and was free to find a new club this summer. Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed on Thursday that a deal had been agreed with the Italian side and that De Guzman would sign a deal until 2020.
The contract has not yet been signed but will be made official when the club lands in Seattle for their pre-season tour of the United States.
De Guzman started his career with Feyenoord before spells with Mallorca, Villarreal and Swansea City. He signed for Napoli in 2014, but has only made a handful of appearances for the Serie A side whilst spending time on loan at Carpi and Chievo.
