Ajax winger Anwar el Ghazi says he has mixed feelings about his first official game for the club. The 19 year old made his debut in the Johan Cryuff Schaal which his club lost 1-0 to PEC Zwolle.

el gahsdhEl Ghazi had played a starring role during pre-season, and impressed coach Frank de Boer enough to make the bench against PEC Zwolle. With his side 1-0 down, El Ghazi was introduced in place of Ricardo Kishna.

Speaking to Ajax TV this is what El Ghazi had to say,”I have mixed feelings. It is all very well that I made my debut, that’s great and I had dreamt that from my childhood.”

“I’m really sad that we lost because I would have really liked to win.”

The winger of Moroccan descent has represented Netherlands at youth levels having made 5 appearances for the country at U-18 and U-17 levels
