Feyenoord have confirmed the signing of Werder Bremen winger Eljero Elia on a two-year-deal.

Elia successfully passed his medical in Rotterdam on Wednesday before putting pen to paper on a two-year-deal. He will wear the number eleven shirt, which was vacated by Jean Paul Boetius, who joined FC Basel earlier this week.
Feyenoord director Martin van Geel told the clubs official website, “Eljero chooses Feyenoord for the sporting challenge, ”
“He has played over the years at big clubs in major European leagues. With that experience and with his qualities he can definitely help our team. We are very happy that Eljero has chosen Feyenoord. ”
The 28-year-old started his career with ADO Den Haag, before spells with FC Twente, Hamburg, Juventus and Werder Bremen. The Dutch international spent six months of last season on loan with Southampton.
Whenever a tam can add talent on a free transfer, it is a good deal. Elia will help Feyenoord this year. If the other 2 rumored transfers happen, they will be a very good team. maybe even make a run for the title.
