Feyenoord winger Eljero Elia has signed a three-year contract with Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir.

Elia expressed his desire to leave Rotterdam on the final day of the season for another adventure abroad, and on Tuesday his move to Turkey was completed.
The 30-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Istanbul Basaksehir, who finished second in the Turkish Super Lig and will take their place in the qualifying rounds for the Champions League.
Elia signed for Feyenoord in 2015 after leaving Werder Bremen, and he scored 15 goals in 55 Eredivisie matches.
